About this grant

Provides event sponsorship funding for gatherings, conferences, and convenings that serve LGBTQ+ individuals and communities in the Upper Midwest. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits or fiscally sponsored groups primarily serving LGBTQ+ populations. Applications are reviewed monthly on a rolling basis, with payments distributed by the end of each month.

Application submitted at least 60 days before the event

Eligibility

Primarily serve LGBTQ+ populations in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and/or the Native Nations therein
Been in operation at least 1 year
Be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the IRS, or be fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
Applying for an event focused on the LGBTQ+ community
Must apply at least 60 days before the event
Can only receive one sponsorship grant per calendar year
Event must not have already passed
Event must not be a fundraiser hosted on behalf of a different organization or for political candidates/campaigns
