About this grant

Supports communications projects that use media to spread the Gospel message and advance the USCCB's mission goals. Grants are available for domestic projects with national reach as well as Catholic communications projects in developing areas of the world where the Church is young and growing. Projects must be directly associated with evangelization and the expression of faith.

Eligibility

Projects must have potential to reach a national audience (domestic) or be in developing areas of the world (international)
Must be directly associated with evangelization and the expression of faith
An organization may submit only one request for CCC funding per calendar year
International proposals must include a letter of recommendation or endorsement from an appropriate episcopal authority
All proposals must be submitted in English
Projects funded for one year at a time only; no ongoing multi-year funding
Cannot be used for debt reduction, equipment purchase, real estate, construction, or unrelated staff salaries
Domestic projects must be national in scope (not arch/diocesan or local only)
