Grant for Centers for Independent Living in Guam

Supports the establishment and operation of Centers for Independent Living (CILs) in Guam, providing services that enable individuals with significant disabilities to live independently in their communities. These centers offer core services including information and referral, independent living skills training, peer counseling, and individual and systems advocacy. The program promotes the philosophy of consumer control and self-determination for people with disabilities.
