About this grant

Supports multi-week in-school arts residencies co-designed by Chicago Public School staff and arts organization or teaching artist partners, taking place during the school day. Grants fund collaborative arts programming that expands student access to high-quality arts education. Both the school and the arts partner must submit separate applications.

Arts partner application submitted separately by October 2, 2026
Active CPS vendor ID number (for arts partners working with district-managed schools)
Completed supplier attestation (arts partners)
Up-to-date artlook® profile (arts partners)

Eligibility

Must be a district-managed or non district-managed Chicago Public School
Creative Schools Survey must be completed by the school's arts liaison
There must be a principal-nominated Arts Liaison at the school
Schools must complete all reporting requirements for prior Creative Schools Fund grants
Arts partners working with CPS district-managed schools must have an active vendor ID number and be in good standing with CPS Procurement
Arts partner artlook® profiles must be up-to-date and complete
Arts partners must complete all requirements for prior Creative Schools Fund grants
All arts partners must apply to the CPS Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Arts Education Services (Specification No. 26-1355) by September 11 at 2:00pm
