About this grant
Funds eligible 501(c)(3) community-based organizations and Tribal entities to implement culturally responsive, community-driven population-based behavioral health prevention programs across California. Projects must promote behavioral health and well-being before signs or onset of mental health or substance use disorders appear, reduce stigma, and strengthen protective factors and community resilience. Funded activities must align with the Behavioral Health Services Act framework and may include Community-Defined Evidence Practices or Evidence-Based Practices.
