About this grant

Supports the development and strengthening of community-university partnerships focused on improving the health of Indiana residents. Funded activities include meetings, conferences, travel, interviews, and quality improvement assessments aimed at building collaborative relationships that will lead to future joint research proposals. The award is not intended to fund research studies or pilot projects, but rather the partnership development activities that precede them.

Letter of Intent (optional but encouraged, due September 17, 2026)

Eligibility

Must have at least one university-based lead and one community-based lead
University project lead must be a full-time (>80% FTE) faculty member at an Indiana-based college, university, or academic institution
Postdoctoral students, fellows, residents, adjunct professors, visiting professors, and staff are not eligible as university project lead
Community project lead must spend at least 80% of their time working in the community
All leads must currently be employed in Indiana-based institutions or organizations
All individuals on the application must join the Indiana CTSI Community Health Partnership Network
Proposed efforts cannot exceed 24 months from the start date
Only in-state travel is allowable
