About this grant
Supports community-based organizations that provide culturally specific services across the full continuum of suicide prevention, including upstream prevention, intervention, community-based programming, culturally specific treatment options, and postvention supports. Programming may include tribal best practices, Indigenous approaches, and strategies that strengthen cultural identity as a protective factor against suicide. The grant aims to strengthen Oregon's suicide prevention infrastructure while building the evidence base for culturally specific approaches.
