Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) public charity or operate through a qualifying fiscal sponsor
Proposals must benefit communities in one of 41 eastern NC counties
Proposals must have a clear and specific focus on education, health, or human services
Organizations must not discriminate on the basis of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, physical ability, sexual orientation, political affiliation, or religious belief
Organizations may only submit one proposal per cycle
Grantees are eligible to receive an award only once every three years
Starting in 2026, local, state, and federal government entities are also eligible to apply
