About this grant
Funds on-the-ground implementation of projects that create, restore, and enhance New Jersey's natural carbon sinks, including salt marshes, seagrass beds, forests, urban parks, and street trees. Projects fall under two initiatives: Promoting Blue Carbon in Coastal Areas and Enhancing Forests and Urban Forests (Green Carbon). Eligible project types include living shorelines, tidal wetland restoration, forest restoration, and urban forest canopy enhancement.
