About this grant

Supports projects that increase community and natural resource resilience in Southeast Michigan through nature-based stormwater solutions, habitat restoration, and public access improvements. Funded projects fall into three categories: expanding nature-based solutions and access to nature, improving habitat quality and connectivity, and activating restored habitats and natural areas. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, state and local governments, tribal governments, and educational institutions.
