About this grant

Provides seed money to ELCA congregations or ministries of the Western North Dakota Synod to start new ministries or expand existing ministries to reach new people. Funded by the Mission Endowment Fund, grants support innovative mission-related initiatives that carry out God's mission for the sake of the Gospel. Applications are reviewed multiple times throughout the year by the Synod Endowment Committee.

Eligibility

Must be an ELCA congregation or ministry of the Western North Dakota Synod
Ministry must be new (within the last two years) or a current ministry that is expanding or enhancing to reach new people
The new or expanding ministry must assist the congregation in carrying out God's mission for the sake of the Gospel
