Grant for International Democracy-Focused Nongovernmental Organizations

Supports nongovernmental organizations working abroad to advance democratic goals and strengthen democratic institutions across more than 100 countries. Funded programs may address human rights, rule of law, freedom of information, independent media, civil society, civic education, and democratic political processes. Organizations working in nascent democracies, transitioning countries, semi-authoritarian states, and highly repressive societies are especially encouraged to apply.
