About this grant
Supports pilot and starter outreach and education initiatives that implement Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) recommendations to increase interest and persistence in biomanufacturing educational programs. Round 3 specifically seeks curriculum supplement development projects aimed at 9th-12th grade students, addressing Iowa Science standards and connecting to biomanufacturing research focal areas. Projects must develop and deliver a classroom-ready curriculum package that introduces students to biomanufacturing careers and is freely accessible to Iowa public and private high schools.
