Eligibility

Must be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) entity, trade association, newsroom, or school
Project or program must have journalism as the focus
Organization must be based in Texas
Project must demonstrate a direct link to journalism and education
Projects with advertising or public relations components are not eligible
Individuals are not eligible
Religious organizations applying for religious purposes are not eligible
No fundraising activities, endowment funds, or political lobbying
