About this grant

Supports K-12 teachers and organizations that serve K-12 teachers in Idaho through humanities-focused projects. Eligible activities include curriculum development, lesson plans, books and supplies, field trips, professional development, and conference attendance. Projects must engage critical thinking and align with the humanities as defined by federal guidelines.

Grant length of up to six months
Decision notification by the 15th of the month following application

Brief letters of support from confirmed project partners
SSN (for individual applicants only, deleted after validation)

Eligibility

Must be an active K-12 teacher in Idaho, or an organization whose program targets K-12 teachers
Must have a valid SAM Number/Unique Entity Identifier (not a DUNS, TIN, or EIN)
Project must have a target audience of K-12 teachers
Must include brief letters of support from confirmed project partners
No advocacy activities permitted
Colleges and universities eligible only if target audience is K-12 teachers
Up to 2 grants per organization per year
