About this grant

Supports cross-sector project teams of Kansas-based organizations that have participated in the Networked program, encouraging collaboration through collective action on community issues. Projects must involve at least three different sectors and focus on areas such as civic engagement, community development, entrepreneurship support, food access, health and wellness, or youth enrichment. Funding is awarded in the order applications are received until the grant pool is exhausted.

How to apply

Project plan with clear approaches, success indicators, and implementation processes
Budget narrative describing and justifying project costs
Identification of Lead Applicant, Project Coordinator, and Reporter roles
Selection of one eligible impact area
Completed template forms (downloadable from Network Kansas website)

Eligibility

Lead Applicant must be a Kansas-based organization that participated in Networked from July 2025 through June 2026
Project team must have representation from at least three different eligible sectors
Each project team must identify a Lead Applicant, Project Coordinator, and Reporter (one person may not fill multiple roles)
Organizations may only participate on one project team (unless statewide with offices in distinct geographies)
Individuals cannot serve on more than one project team
Project teams should only submit one project during the application period
Projects must be brand-new efforts meeting eligibility criteria within the Networked impact area and project type
Administrative expenses may not exceed 25 percent of the grant award
