Grant for Local Health Departments and Community Health Centers Improving Women's Health

Provides competitive grant funding to Local Health Departments and nonprofit Community Health Centers in North Carolina to implement evidence-based strategies that improve reproductive, maternal, and infant health outcomes. Funded activities include increasing access to contraceptive services, home visiting for postnatal assessment, behavioral health integration, community health worker programs, and perinatal patient navigation. Priority is given to programs serving underserved, uninsured, or medically indigent individuals.
