Grant for Maine Libraries and Public Safety Organizations

Supports public libraries in Maine and public safety organizations (fire departments and emergency response services) through a limited competitive grant cycle. Libraries may apply for operating support, project support, capital projects, or capacity building, while public safety organizations may apply for equipment purchases, capital projects, or capacity building. Preference is given to areas of the state with fewer access to financial resources.
