Supports nonprofit organizations working on climate and energy initiatives in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa through operating and project grants. The program funds advocacy, policy research, education, and other efforts advancing climate and clean energy solutions in the Midwest. Government entities may also apply for innovative projects.

Eligibility

Organization must be based in and working in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Iowa (other Midwest states are invite-only)
Must be classified by the IRS as a tax-exempt nonprofit organization (with very few exceptions)
Government entities may apply only for innovative projects
Must not be seeking funding for activities that are traditionally the sole responsibility of government
