About this grant

Supports projects focused on improving care for nursing home residents in Oregon, including innovative staff recruitment and retention, evidence-based care practices, training and therapy adaptations, and collaborative relationships among nursing homes and community organizations. Eligible projects must benefit nursing home residents specifically, not assisted living or other care facilities. Multi-year grants are available with an emphasis on projects that can be replicated and sustained beyond the grant period.

Must be a nonprofit with tax-exempt status or a public agency
Must operate within Oregon
Projects must focus solely on benefitting residents of nursing homes
Not available for projects focused on assisted living facilities or other care facilities
Grants will not be made for equipment or capital projects (with limited exceptions)
Grants will not be made to replace other funding unless OCF support will make a significant difference
