About this grant

Supports programs and services that improve the quality of life for seniors, with a focus on housing, aging in place, home and community-based services, health and quality of care, and community engagement. Grants prioritize vulnerable and low-income senior populations and encourage collaboration among organizations serving older residents. A matching requirement is in place, with applicants able to request up to half of their total project budget.

Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, public agency of state/county/local government, or not-for-profit educational institution
Must be based in and serve St. Joseph County, Indiana
Must be focused on providing programs or services for seniors
Must demonstrate ability to secure matching funds (up to 50% of total project budget)
Matching funds must come from cash gifts; pledges and in-kind contributions not accepted
Does not fund annual appeals, general membership contributions, individuals, or special event underwriting
