Grant for Nonprofits Providing Child Abuse Professional Training

Supports a national training and technical assistance program for child abuse professionals to enhance coordinated, multidisciplinary investigations and responses to child abuse. The program aims to improve child interview techniques, investigative methods, interagency coordination, and court preparation for professionals including law enforcement, prosecutors, child protective services workers, social workers, and mental health professionals. One cooperative agreement will be awarded to a national organization with demonstrated experience in this field.
