About this grant

Supports 501(c)(3) nonprofits in Delaware providing programs addressing mental health, food insecurity, substance abuse, suicide prevention, disability services, environmental conservation, violence prevention, education, and workforce development. Grants are available across three Delaware counties — New Castle, Kent, and Sussex — each with its own focus areas and award maximums. Organizations may apply to one, two, or all three county programs using a single common application.

Outline of how YPB funds will be used

501(c)(3) determination letter
Signed authorization for ACH payment processing

Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Program must end after April 30, 2026
This is not a reimbursement grant — funds are awarded prospectively
Program must align with the focus statement of the county(ies) applied to
Must provide a program-specific budget (not organization budget) for each county applied to
Must provide a voided check or bank letter for ACH payment processing (if no prior DCF grant since March 2021)
Organization must not discriminate in staffing or services on the basis of race, religion, gender, age, disability, national origin, or sexual orientation
