Grant for Nonprofits Supporting Senior SNAP Enrollment

Supports community-based organizations serving as SNAP Enrollment Centers to help adults age 60 and older access, enroll in, and maintain benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Selected organizations will conduct outreach, assist with applications and recertification, and participate in a coordinated network focused on improving SNAP participation among older adults. The initiative targets areas with historically low SNAP participation rates among eligible older adults.
