Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Must focus on STEM education with special focus in agriculture education and nutrition for underserved children K-12, and/or food assistance and nutrition programs for those experiencing food insecurity
Must operate in Sacramento, Salida, or Turlock communities
Must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status
Must not be conducting fundraising on behalf of other organizations
Must not be requesting general financial support for colleges/universities or their foundations (program-specific requests may be considered)
Must not be a professional or recreational sports team
Must not be requesting capital campaign funding
