About this grant

Supports environmental education projects led by Oklahoma teachers, schools, and youth organizations from early childhood through 12th grade. Funded projects must have an environmental education focus, include direct student involvement, and connect to classroom learning objectives or state curriculum standards. Projects must be completed by the end of the school year.

Completed grant proposal form
Detailed itemized project budget
Letter of Commitment from principal or supervisor
Optional: up to five pages of photographs, clippings, diagrams, or maps

Eligibility

Must be an Oklahoma teacher (public or private, early childhood through 12th grade), postsecondary institution, school environmental club, youth group leader, or organization with a youth component
Project must have an environmental education focus
Project must include direct student involvement
Project must contain clear ties to classroom learning objectives or state curriculum standards
Project must be completed by the end of the next school year (by May 15, 2027)
Grantees must be a registered vendor with the state of Oklahoma
