About this grant
Funds Peer-Run Organizations (PROs) to establish and open new peer respite pilot projects within two years, partnering with local behavioral health departments. The program supports community-based stabilization for people approaching, experiencing, or stepping down from a behavioral health crisis, with the goal of reducing reliance on hospitalization and incarceration. Two grant categories are available: small grants under $500,000 and large grants up to $1,500,000.
