About this grant

Provides funding to Pregnancy Help Organizations in Georgia that offer pro-life alternatives to abortion by supporting pregnancy and parenting for up to one year following birth. Eligible organizations must provide free, confidential pregnancy support services including counseling, pregnancy tests, and evidence-based information on fetal development. The program was established by the Georgia Legislature and is managed by Life Resources of Georgia under contract with the Department of Public Health.

Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Georgia
Primary mission must be promoting healthy pregnancy and childbirth
Must follow financial accounting consistent with generally accepted accounting principles, including an annual budget
Must have a board who hires a director to manage operations
Must have provided pregnancy support services for a minimum of one year
Must currently offer pregnancy tests and counseling for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies
Must provide confidential and free pregnancy support services
Grant funds must not be used to counsel toward abortion, refer for abortion, or provide abortion
