About this grant

Supports nonprofits delivering programs and services that address urgent community needs across a six-county region in Georgia and South Carolina. Funded areas include arts and culture, education and workforce readiness, health and wellness, and basic needs and stability. The program uses a competitive review process involving staff, volunteer panels, site visits, and board approval.

Budget narrative
Six-month progress report (due July 15)

Eligibility

Must have IRS determination letter recognizing 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, operate under a qualifying group exemption, or be a public entity
Must provide programs and services to residents of Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, or Burke counties in Georgia, or Aiken or Edgefield counties in South Carolina
Only one grant application per 501(c)(3) per Community Grants Program cycle
Grant requests must not exceed $15,000
Programs must not have already taken place or be completed in the current calendar year
