About this grant

Funds projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in participating communities, including energy efficiency upgrades to buildings, renewable energy additions, composting, and local food growing. Open to residents and businesses in San Miguel, Ouray, San Juan, and West Montrose Counties in Colorado. Funds are disbursed as reimbursements after project completion.

Eligibility

Must be a resident or business in San Miguel, Ouray, San Juan, or West Montrose Counties
Projects must reduce greenhouse gas emissions within participating communities
Projects must be completed between January 1, 2027 and November 1, 2027
Projects completed in 2026 are not eligible
A funding agreement must be signed in January 2027 before projects begin
Intent to Apply pre-application is required (due October 30, 2026)
