About this grant

Supports nonprofit organizations with projects aligned to agriculture education, hunger relief, rural disaster relief, and rural health services. Grants are available in three tiers to meet the needs of both small and large projects. Priority is given to 501(c)(3) organizations serving rural communities.

What you get

Grants of up to $5,000 awarded quarterly
Grants of up to $15,000 awarded twice a year
Grants of up to $25,000 awarded twice a year

For $15,000/$25,000: formal plan (business/strategic plan, capital campaign plan, etc.)
For $25,000: project budget of $25,000+

Eligibility

Must demonstrate alignment with at least one focus area: agriculture education, hunger relief, rural disaster relief, or rural health services
Must serve communities in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Wyoming
Priority given to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
Organization may receive no more than one grant within a 12-month period
Organization may receive no more than $25,000 in five years
For $15,000 and $25,000 grants: formal plan required (business/strategic plan, capital campaign plan, etc.)
For $25,000 grants: project budget must be $25,000+ and funding only available for up to 50% of total budget
Must be consistent with FCSAmerica values and mission
