About this grant

Supports nonprofit organizations with projects aligned to agricultural education, hunger relief, rural disaster relief, and rural health services. Three funding tiers are available ranging from up to $5,000 for short-term projects to up to $25,000 for large capital campaigns and long-term initiatives. Priority is given to 501(c)(3) organizations serving rural communities in specific counties across North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Grants of up to $25,000 awarded twice a year

Eligibility questions
Project description and goals
For $15,000 and $25,000 grants: formal plan (business/strategic plan, capital campaign plan, etc.)
For $25,000 grants: project budget of $25,000 or more

Eligibility

Must demonstrate alignment with at least one focus area: agricultural education, hunger relief, rural disaster relief, or rural health services
Must serve communities within the AgCountry Farm Credit Services service area in specific counties in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin
Priority given to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
Organization may receive no more than one Working Here Fund grant within a 12-month period
Organization may receive no more than $25,000 in total Working Here Fund grants over five years
Grant requests must be consistent with the values and mission of AgCountry
For $15,000 and $25,000 grants: formal plan required and project must have long-term goals
For $25,000 grants: project budget must be $25,000+ and funding only available for up to 50% of total budget
