About this grant

Supports nonprofit organizations with projects aligned to agricultural education, hunger relief, rural disaster relief, and rural health services. Three funding tiers are available ranging from small short-term projects to large capital campaigns and facility expansions. Priority is given to 501(c)(3) organizations serving communities in eastern Kansas.

What you get

Grants of up to $5,000 awarded quarterly
Grants of up to $15,000 awarded twice a year
Grants of up to $25,000 awarded twice a year

Project description and goals
Formal plan required for $15,000 and $25,000 grants (business/strategic plan, capital campaign plan, etc.)
Project budget (must be $15,000+ for $15,000 tier; $25,000+ for $25,000 tier)

Eligibility

Must demonstrate alignment with at least one focus area: agricultural education, hunger relief, rural disaster response, or rural health services
Must serve communities in eastern Kansas within the Frontier Farm Credit service area
Priority given to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
Organization may receive no more than one Working Here Fund grant within a 12-month period
Organization may receive no more than $25,000 in total grants over five years
Projects requesting $15,000 or $25,000 must have a formal plan (business/strategic plan, capital campaign plan, etc.)
Projects requesting $25,000 must have a total project budget of $25,000+ (funding covers up to 50% of total budget)
