About this grant

Provides funding for humanities programs developed for public audiences, including support for traveling exhibition rentals and public display. Two grant lines are available: rural grants for organizations in smaller Texas counties, and exhibition grants for nonprofits statewide. Eligible organizations include museums, libraries, historical societies, community colleges, universities, and arts/cultural centers.

Must be a nonprofit organization or eligible governmental/educational entity
Rural grants: organization must be located in one of the 196 Texas counties with a population of 60,000 residents or fewer
Exhibition grants: open to nonprofit organizations statewide in Texas
Exhibition grants require one-to-one cost-share; rural grants do not require cost-share
