Provides general operating funds to nonprofits whose mission centers on promoting health, belonging, and leadership for kids and families in rural communities. Focus areas include family resiliency, food access, housing, social inclusion, and mental health. Designed for organizations serving families most impacted by health disparities in western Montana.

Eligibility

Must be a tax-exempt public charity (IRS-qualified) or fiscally sponsored organization
Mission must center on family resiliency, food, housing, social inclusion, or mental health
Must primarily serve areas outside Western Montana's urban centers of Missoula, Kalispell, Butte, and Helena
Must have operated for at least two years
Operating budget must be under $1 million (excluding schools)
Must serve families most impacted by health disparities in the Flathead Nation or Montana's 15 westernmost counties
Hospitals and community foundations eligible only as fiscal sponsors or sole regional providers
Cannot encourage participation in religious teachings to access services
