Grant for Rural Wisconsin Communities and Local Economic Development Organizations

Provides grants to local economic development organizations, units of government, and Tribal communities in Wisconsin to access technical assistance and financial support for developing community facilities, economic development initiatives, and housing projects. Funding supports pre-development professional services, capacity building to apply for additional state and federal funding, design, project management, legal fees, and environmental assessments. Only communities pre-approved in concept by the Office of Rural Prosperity are eligible to apply.
