Grant for Schools and Nonprofits Hosting Artist Residencies

• Up to $3,000 in reimbursement grant funding
• Title 1/21st Century Schools may request up to $3,000 or 90% of total project cost, whichever is less
• Non-Title 1 schools may request up to $3,000 or 70% of total project cost, whichever is less

• Online application via NDCA grants system (grantinterface.com)
• Project narrative (using AIR Narrative Template)
• Budget and budget narrative (using FY27 AIR Budget and Instructions)
• PDF application available if online submission is not possible

• Must be a North Dakota school district, government agency, or nonprofit organization
• Federally tax-exempt nonprofit arts organizations are eligible
• Federally tax-exempt non-arts nonprofits are eligible (arts budgets must be isolated from the larger entity's budget)
• Public entities such as units of state, local, or tribal government are eligible
• Public schools, private schools, and school districts are eligible
• Title 1/21st Century Schools: minimum 10% cash match required
• Non-Title 1/Non-21st Century Schools: minimum 30% cash match required
• Application must be submitted at least six weeks prior to the start date of the proposed activity
