Grant for Small Business Storefront & Streetscape Improvements

• Reimbursement grant of up to 50% of total project costs
• Maximum award of $20,000
• 12 months to complete project and submit receipts for reimbursement

• Grant application form
• Project cost documentation/budget
• Receipts for reimbursement upon project completion
• Subject to approval from the Plan Commission
• Subject to final approval from the Common Council

• Must be a privately owned business with a commercial storefront or 'brick & mortar' location
• Non-profits directly related to money generating food service or retail organizations are eligible
• Non-profit arts & entertainment organizations are eligible
• Business must be located within the City of Superior
• Previous recipients and those affiliated with grantees through shared buildings or business partnerships must wait three years from the date of grant disbursement before reapplying
