• Complete online nomination form with nominator's and nominee's details
• Submit a 50-300 word original statement explaining how the business shows courage, perseverance, and integrity, and its community impact
• Agree to official rules and content restrictions
• Business owner must sign and return Declaration of Compliance, Liability Waiver, and Publicity Release if selected

• Business must be located and operate in the 50 United States or DC
• Business must have been established for at least 1 year at time of nomination
• Business must have no more than 99 W-2 employees (including owners)
• Business must be for-profit or a 501(c)(3) organization
• Business must be currently active and lawful, with all required licenses and registrations
• Business must not have won this contest in the past 2 years
• Business owner must be at least the age of majority in their state
• Business owner cannot nominate their own business
• Nominator must be a legal US resident, at least 18 years old, with no ownership interest in the nominee
• Employees and immediate family/household members of Intuit, Merkle, their affiliates, and promotional agencies are not eligible to nominate or be nominated
• Business owner cannot be a government official, on sanctions lists, or a military end user as defined by law
