• Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or have a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status
• Must be located in and serve communities in Orange County
• Annual operating budget of $1 million or less
• Must not have received direct funding from Sun Family Foundation within the past three years
• Must be engaged in charitable work and able to receive grant funds
• 501(c)(4) organizations, political organizations, or lobbying groups are not eligible
• Organizations seeking capital or equipment funding are not eligible
• Organizations with senior leaders or board members who are staff, family, board members, donors, or vendors to Sun Family Foundation are not eligible
