About this grant

Supports organizational and professional development for cultural nonprofits and county/tribal cultural coalitions in Oregon with operating budgets under $1.5 million. The Organizational Development category funds capacity-building through professional consultation and facilitation projects, while the Professional Development category supports conference attendance, seminars, workshops, and courses for key organizational leaders. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis until funds are depleted.

What you get

Organizational Development grants up to $2,500 for capacity-building consultation and facilitation
Professional Development grants up to $1,000 per opportunity
Organizations may receive up to two Professional Development grants per year
Notification of funding decision within 30 days of application receipt

Eligibility

Must be a cultural nonprofit registered on the Cultural Trust website
Must be a recognized 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS
Must be current with all grant reporting requirements to the Cultural Trust and its funding partners
Annual operating budget must be under $1.5 million
Applicants must be staff members (full or part time) of eligible organizations or County/Tribal Cultural Coalition members
County/Tribal Cultural Coalitions must be current with all grant reporting requirements
Professional Development applications must be submitted no fewer than 45 days prior to the event
