Grant for Sports Event Organizers Attracting Tourism

Supports new or enhanced sporting events and tournaments that attract out-of-town visitors to the Bloomington, Minnesota area, increasing hotel occupancy and driving economic development. The program emphasizes new tournaments and requires applicants to use BMTT's lead service for securing hotel rooms. Grants may be awarded for up to one event per year for up to three consecutive years.
