Grant for Texas Panhandle Nonprofits and Community Organizations

• Grant award of a minimum of $5,000 (amount varies based on project scope and available funding)
• Funding for projects addressing basic human needs, human services, education, or youth development

• Completed online application form
• Prior contact with program officer to discuss project and confirm correct application

• Must be a nonprofit organization, church, special district (school or hospital district), or governmental entity
• Must provide services to individuals residing in the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle
• Organization must have been established and active for at least three years
• Cannot have an existing, active Community Grant at time of application
• All previous/current grant award requirements must be met before submitting a new application
• Only one request per organization will be considered
• Organizations should not request funds more than once in a 12-month period
• Must contact the office to discuss project prior to submitting an application

The Mary E. Bivins Foundation, a Texas non-profit corporation, was formed in 1949. The purposes / mission for which the corporation was formed are: (A) to operate for the benefit of nursing homes established for worthy, aged, and needy persons.
