About this grant

Supports high-quality outdoor education and recreation experiences for Nevada youth through age 18, with priority given to youth facing barriers to outdoor access. Funded programs may include outdoor environmental, ecological, agricultural, cultural, or natural resource-based education and recreation programming. Two tiers are available: a Tier I Microgrant (up to $7,500) and a Tier II Impact Grant ($7,501–$50,000).

Funds distributed by reimbursement after project costs are paid
Optional pre-submission feedback from NDOR staff for first-time applicants

Eligibility

Must be a public agency, public/private/charter school, private nonprofit organization, tribal government, or other community-based entity
Must directly provide outdoor education or recreation programming to Nevada youth
Programs must serve Nevada youth through age 18
Projects must be outdoor environmental, ecological, agricultural, cultural, or natural resource-based education and recreation programs
Priority given to youth facing barriers to outdoor access
