About this grant

Provides matching grants to support the establishment, expansion, or maintenance of K-12 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education programs in Idaho. Funded projects may include demonstration programs designed to encourage knowledge of and interest in science disciplines among elementary and secondary school students. Recipients must match at least half of the total project cost with cash or in-kind contributions.

Eligibility

Must be a nonprofit corporation incorporated or registered in the State of Idaho
Must have conducted a science education program for at least one year prior to application
Must provide at least 50% match (cash or in-kind) toward the total project cost with clearly identified sources
Project must focus on expansion or maintenance of existing science education programs in Idaho
Project activities and expenditures must occur during the grant period (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027)
All project funds must be spent by May 28, 2027
