About this grant
Provides grants to High Road Training Partnerships (HRTPs) that train and place participants in Los Angeles County into high road careers across priority sectors including wildfire rebuilding and recovery, water infrastructure operations and maintenance, preparation for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, ethical use of artificial intelligence, and social/homeless services for individuals with lived experience of homelessness or justice involvement. Programs must bring together a lead applicant/fiscal agent, sector intermediary, employer, labor/worker representative, and training provider to co-design and implement workforce development solutions. The fund advances both participant-level outcomes and broader systems change across industries.
