About this grant

Supports charitable 501(c)(3) organizations whose primary mission is to assist children in need in the Western New York area. Funds innovative programs, equipment, and physical improvements for organizations serving disabled and/or economically disadvantaged youth. Priority is given to organizations that can clearly demonstrate how funds will be used.

Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
Must not be classified as a private foundation under Section 509(a)
Primary mission must be to assist children in need in the Western New York area
Must not be a local chapter of a national organization that sends a substantial portion of the grant to the national office
Must not be a governmental program
Grant must not be used for overhead or general operating expenses
Grant must not be used for public playgrounds or event sponsorships
