About this grant

Provides annual grant funding to nonprofit organizations advancing clean energy, workforce development, environmental education and stewardship, and equitable access to clean energy. Funded programs focus on research, resilience, environmental and social justice communities, workforce development, and clean energy education. Recipients receive financial support to expand their reach and strengthen community resilience.

Budget (Attachment A or supplemental budget)
If using a fiscal sponsor: fiscal sponsorship letter taking responsibility for fiscal administration
If using a fiscal sponsor: letter of request authorizing the organization to apply for the grant

Eligibility

Must be an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Must serve areas where Clean Power Alliance provides electricity
Project must fall within priority focus areas: Research, Resilience, Environmental and Social Justice Communities, Workforce Development, or Education
Funding not permitted for political action committees, trade associations, government entities, or political candidates
Previous grant recipients are eligible to apply but cannot receive funds more than two years in a row
