About this grant
Funds community-based organizations and Tribal entities to implement, strengthen, or expand population-based prevention approaches for behavioral health, including mental health and substance use disorder prevention. The program supports culturally grounded, community-driven evidence practices that operate at the population or community level before signs or onset of a disorder appear. Eligible activities include health promotion, universal prevention, and selective prevention that reduce risk factors and address social drivers of health.
