About this grant

Provides supplemental funding to incorporated nonprofit organizations that deliver services to Delaware residents across categories including aging, arts, economic services, family and youth services, health, and neighborhood and community services. The program is intended to support agencies filling unmet human needs that are not duplicated by other state-supported programs.

How to apply

Online application submitted by the due date
Financial statements or audit completed within the past three years
Supporting financial documentation if audit cannot be provided (e.g., profit and loss statements, IRS Form 990s, bank statements)

Eligibility

Must be an incorporated nonprofit (or under umbrella of an incorporated nonprofit parent) operating for at least two years before applying
Must have bylaws stating the agency's purpose and duties of the Board of Directors
Must have an active, community-represented, volunteer Board of Directors with meeting minutes
Programs must be unduplicated by other state-supported agencies and satisfy unmet human needs
Must have personnel policies including job descriptions and classifications
Must have an audit, review, or compilation of financial statements completed within the past three years by a CPA or Public Accountant
Must demonstrate community support
Must not request funds through a fiscal agent
